Don is a 23 year Navy Veteran where he was primarily a surgeon with multiple deployments and stations across the globe. Don also learned how to fly planes in his spare time and eventually ended up flying single engine fixed wing aircraft in the civil air patrol in Minnesota in an air force uniform. Don eventually transitioned into the civilian world and joined a shared medical practice in St. Cloud, Minnesota called Centrasota Oral surgeons.

After his retirement, he became involved with the St. Cloud VA performing surgeries for Veterans who were in need of care. Don has been closely tied to the St. Cloud Scheels store for many years. He has been instrumental in helping develop different mentoring and learning to hunt opportunities for those less fortunate and is currently the president of Great River Archery Club. Everything Don accomplishes has been led by his faith in God with a goal of helping and doing good for others.
