SCHEELS HOMETOWN HERO – GRACE STOLEN

Grace Stolen joined the Iowa air guard in 2007 as an intel specialist and in 2010 transferred to the civil engineering squadron where she currently serves today. Grace has had multiple deployments to Moldova, United Arab Emirates, Guam, Puerto Rico and Hawaii to name a few.

Grace has been involved in the sexual assault prevention and response program for the past 12 years as a traditional guardsmen. Recently she took a full time roll as a victim advocate for the western region of Iowa.

Grace also volunteers her time to the community as a board member and volunteer for Support Siouxland Soldiers. Here Grace has helped ship care packages to deployed soldiers and manage a free food pantry exclusively for Veterans and their families along with creating social events that bring Veterans together.
