RAINY RIVER STURGEON – Season 9 / Episode 2

On this episode we travel to Baudette Minnesota with Vietnam Veteran/Prisoner of War Gary Guggenberger, AHO Co-Host Mike Worden and AHO Ambassador Samantha Birrenkott for a couple days of Sturgeon fishing on the Rainy River. Gary Guggenberger was a Prisoner of war for 4 years in Vietnam. Gary’s bucket list was to catch a Sturgeon so we returned north to do just that AND share more about his time being held prisoner in Vietnam. Also joining us is AHO Ambassador Samantha Birrenkott. Samantha volunteers her time with AHO and her family has been busy making wooden American flags as a way to show appreciation to our nations heroes and to give something back. One of the Birrenkott’s flags went to Gary through a contest and they were able to meet on this trip.
