SCHEELS HOMETOWN HERO – JASON SEBRING

 In Hometown Heroes
We travel to Colorado to honor Jason Sebring as the next Scheels Hometown Hero. Jason Sebring was raised by a family of veterans in Cokato, Minnesota and then he himself enlisted in the United States Navy in July of 1999.
He did his boot camp in Great Lakes, IL as well as his initial training for his military career. He then was sent to the USS Paul F. Foster stationed in Washington state. After that he was awarded several secondary schools. Once completing those schools, and graduating at the top of his class he chose to be forward deployed. He chose Yokosuka, Japan. In February of 2001 he arrived at his new duty station, the USS O’Brien was set to deploy to the persian gulf in April of 2001 for a six month deployment.

After September 11th happened he made several more deployments to support Operating Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraq Freedom. He was discharged in March of 2008 with an honorable discharge. His wife and family moved back to her hometown in Colorado. Where he could continue his passions of Hunting Big game, and riding ATV’s all while camping with his family. He Currently works as a Surgical Technologist, performing surgeries and working on the front lines, maintaining and helping others in this Pandemic of Covid-19. He is a Proud Veteran, Husband, Father, and Friend. Always working to support others before doing something for himself.
