Patriot Fish Fest, January 06-07, 2023

Join us in honoring our nation’s heroes on January 6th and 7th, 2023. Patriot Fish Fest, at Devils Lake, ND, is open to the public. Rules meeting will be at Woodland Resort and Virtually on AHO FB Live at 6:30am on Saturday, January 7th. Tournament hours are 7:00am – 4:00 pm. Contestants will check-in, stage and depart from the landing at Woodland Resort.

Entry fee is $200 for a two-person team and includes Fishing Tournament, meals at banquet, and raffle drawings.

Tournament Rules:

Rules meeting will be at Woodland Resort and Virtually on AHO FB Live at 6:30am on Saturday, January 7th.
Tournament hours are 7:00am – 4:00 pm.
Contestants will check-in, stage and depart from the landing at Woodland Resort.
Inspections will start immediately following the Rules Meeting. Fish houses, shelters, and vehicles are allowed on the ice, (will be inspected). Electronic equipment allowed. (Including but not limited to) depth finders, graphs & underwater cameras. All personal articles are subject to search for illegal fish. Any tournament official has the right to view and re-inspect teams on the ice.
Weigh-in will start at 4:00pm and fish must be at weigh-in NLT 4:30pm. At least one team member must be present to weigh their fish.
Weigh-in will be held at the Woodland Dome – Woodland Resort (follow signs).
Frozen fish will not be weighed. Fish will be brought to weigh in using a bucket or bag.
Tournament Director has the right to disqualify any fish that are in question.
Tournament area is Devils Lake and does not include Stump Lake, Pelican Lake, or the area of Six-mile Bay located north of Hwy 19-W (see map).
All Current ND Game and Fish Department Regulations Must Be Followed.
The sharing of fish between teams is strictly prohibited and will result in disqualification. Failure to comply with these rules may lead to a contestant’s disqualification.Any protests must be brought directly to the tournament director.

Prizes – Awards

Cash prizes will be awarded as follows:

1st and 2nd place for five largest Walleye (total weight)
1st and 2nd place for five largest Perch (total weight)
1st place for largest Pike (single fish weight)
1st place for largest “other fish” (single fish weight)
75% of all Entry fees will be paid back to participants. Prizes are based on net from ticket sales and will be divided up as follows: Walleye 30% Perch 30% Northern 30% Other 10%. Cash payouts will be determined prior to start, dependent on # of participants.
There will be no refunds if the contest is canceled; however, all raffle prizes will be awarded.

In the event of inclement weather or unsafe ice the committee reserves the right to modify the tournament.
